John Paul Gleason, MD

Dr. John Gleason joined the Southlake Pediatric practice in 2004. Dr. Gleason received his Doctorate of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Gleason has affiliations with Children's Hospital, Brookwood Medical Center, and St. Vincent's Hospital. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association. Dr. Gleason has participated in three clinical trials since joining with the practice, and continues to serve in a variety of roles as his practice continues to grow.

Edward L. Goldblatt, M.D.

Dr. Goldblatt moved from his office at Greenvale Pediatrics in September of 2003, to the Medplex building at Southlake, to start his new practice Southlake Pediatrics. Dr. Goldblatt also holds affiliations with Brookwood Medical Center, Children's Hospital, BMC Montclair, and Shelby Medical Center. Dr. Goldblatt has published many articles and has a vast presentation portfolio. He has participated in more than 30 clinical trials. Dr. Goldblatt is a member of the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, the Jefferson County Pediatric Society, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Board of Pediatrics.

Andrew N. McCown, MD

In August of 2003 Dr. Andrew McCown joined with Dr. Edward Goldblatt to start Southlake Pediatrics located in Hoover, Alabama. Dr. McCowan received his Medical Degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He is currently a member of the American Medical Association and the American Acedemy of Pediatrics. Dr. McCowan holds hospital appointments with the Brookwood Medical Center, St. Vincent's Hospital, and Children's Hospital. Dr. McCowan has participated in more than 30 clinical trials with Clinical Research Consultants as a Principal Investigator; and serves as Sub Investigator for all of Dr. Goldblatt's clinical trials.
